| Corned beef hash
2 Onions, chopped. As many cooked Potatoes as u need for family (dont mash them) 1 tin of corned beef Knorr Beef Stock Pot (the jelly one) Marmite Salt and pepper to taste.
Put onions in a frying pan (no oil) add knorr stock pot and a big teaspoon of marmite, dont worry if you dont like marmite, you wont taste it like it tastes in the jar, add some water and gently simmer until onions are soft and the stock has thickened a bit, you may need to add more water.
Chop corned beef into small cubes.
Put spuds, onions and corned beef in oven proof dish and crush with a fork, mix together and season with salt and pepper.
Pop in a hot oven for 20 mins or until top browned.
Serve on hot plates with crusty bread and oodles of butter.

| Beef Cobbler
225 g (8 oz) self- raising flour pinch of salt 50 g (2 oz) butter or margarine 1 egg, beaten plus extra to glaze 3 tablespoons milk
1lb Mince (lean) Onion Marmite KNorr Stock pot beef Bisto granules.
Make up the cobblers by rubbing fat into flour and salt, add the egg and as much milk as you need to make a soft dough. Leave in fridge to cool for a while.
Fry mince and onions together until meat is browned (I strain the fat off at this point) Add marmite and stock pot. Add water, only about 1/2pt as you want thick gravy. Add bisto to thicken.
Put meat mixture into an oven proof dish.
Press out the scone mixture with hand to about 1/2 thickness and cut into rounds, or just roll into balls and flatten. Place on the top of the meat mixture and glaze with milk.
Pop in oven 180 celcius until scones are rise and brown and meat is bubbling.
Serve with fresh steamed veggies. | |
