A Glimmer
A wee glimmer of light
Has greeted me
As I arose this morn
Not tempting fate
Or Providence
But could I be reborn?
My aching form
Although weak
Feels different in a way
Perhaps the test has been taken
And the dues have been repaid
I ask not why, or for the reason
That I have suffered this fate
Just simply grateful
This glimmer approached
Before it was to late.
